With a background in Fine Arts in Montevideo, Uruguay, with the teacher Miguel A. Romance (1966 to 1972.)

In 1983, he traveled to Europe, living in Madrid, Spain, until 1989. From 1984 to 1987, studied painting and drawing, in Madrid, Spain.
